Air operated diaphragm pumps are reciprocating pumps where the working elements are flexible diaphragms. The drive is by means of compressed air acting directly upon the diaphragm.
By simply adjusting the air supply the double diaphragm pump provides variable flow and discharge pressures of up to 8 bars (16 bar for high pressure versions). A single pump can provide a broad spectrum of pumping capabilities from a few litres up to 1,060 l/min.
Air operated double diaphragm pumps are designed to run dry indefinitely without damage and are self priming from a dry start. The aodd-pump can also run completely submerged or installed with flooded suction.
Features and benefits
Simple by design, highly interchangeable and less maintenance costs.
Easy to use. Flow can be achieved on demand and altered by simple air or regulation.
Does not need any lubrication.
Designed to run dry indefinitely without damage.
New air valves design guarantees a perfect, non-stalling operation, even at low pressure.
Thanks to their unique design, they are able to handle very abrasive and / or viscous products.
Low level noise.
Lightweight and easy to install every where.
